Andrew Robert Gage, affectionately known as Drew or Moose, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. He was born on February 4, 1961, in Ipswich, England. His life journey was marked by kindness, warmth, and an ever-present sense of humor that brought joy to those fortunate enough to know him.
A graduate with a GED from Sacramento, California, Andrew dedicated his professional life to working in Special Needs Health Care where he eventually retired from. His career was not just an occupation; it was a reflection of his compassionate spirit and tireless commitment to making the world a better place for others.
Andrew was proud to be a loving family member. He is survived by his sister Karen Clemons, her spouse Chuck, and their son Mathew; his sister Erin Gray and her children, Christopher Meadows, Amber Shields, and Heather Meadows, and Emily Gray along with four great nephews and one great niece; his sister Lynn and her husband Dan Carr, along with their son Ryan Smith; and his nephew Gabriel Scrivener-Gage, the son of Thomas Scrivener-Gage. His step sons, Roy Ballard, Ron Ballard and his daughters, Naomi and Izzabell, and Lance Ballard and their mother Dianne Ballard.

Andrew was preceded in death by his beloved father, Bobby Lee Gage, of Woodland, California, his mother, Margaret Patricia Ann Scrivener-Gage of Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, his brother, Thomas Daniel Scrivener-Gage, of Post Falls, Idaho, his uncle Thomas Daniel Gage from Castro Valley, California, and his grandparents, Robert and Veda Gage, also of Castro Valley.

His zest for life extended beyond his career and family. Andrew shared a deep passion for raising pit bulls, where his love for animals matched his love for his family. His spirit lives on in the memories of all who had the honor of knowing him. Though he has departed this world, the impact of his life will resonate in the hearts of many. Andrew Robert Gage will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever remain.
