Carol Jean Green

Carol Jean Green, 91 of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho surrounded by her family , passed away peacefully and went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 6, 2025. Carol was born January 16, 1934 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Cedric Robert Stevenson and Mildred Evelyn Hawe. They eventually moved to Burbank, California when Carol was a young girl.

Carol Met and married the love of her life, Jerry Allen Green in 1954 and they shared 34 years of marriage before his untimely passing in 1988.

Carol loved to collect elephants, birds ,butterflies she loved flowers and would put fake flowers and real flowers all over her house outside and inside. She loved autumn colors and just being very artistic she enjoyed painting and drawing. She had a love of Christian songs , steel guitar, Johnny Mathis and many more songs and artist.

Carol was known for her deep generosity. When her kids were young, she would always have extra kids and adults at her table. If you were hungry, she fed you. She cooked for a crowd and everyone loved her cracker fried steak. She always said she wasn’t the best cook, but we never went hungry and there was always love in every dish.

Carol worked for many years in Santa Maria, California for Betteravia Tandun farms and Johnny Englis. She also did bookkeeping And accounting, she ran a daycare in her home for many years. She also worked as an Architect assistant. She drew plans for a house and had it built both in California and Idaho.

Carol lived in the five Cities area in California from 1970 to 1997. She then moved to Idaho and reside there for 28 more years.

Carol was a devoted wife, mother of four, grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 31 and Recent great, great grandmother, Aunt, and friend!

She never missed a birthday card and always signed her name Mommy, Mom or Mama.

Carol Is survived by her four children, Micheal Allen Green and wife Connie. Janet Raye Thomas, Glenn Thomas Green and wife Darla. Kelly Brian Green and wife Sheila. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Cedric and Mildred. Husband, Jerry Allen Green. Brother, Bob Stevenson. Son-in-law, Cliff Thomas. And grandson, Clifford Thomas.

You will be forever in all of our hearts, and we were blessed that the Lord gave you 91 years on this earth. Thank you for your spiritual guidance for all of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and loving all of us! Thank you for loving Jesus Christ, your Lord and Savior and showing us that example. We look forward to the day that We will all be reunited in heaven With you and all who have gone ahead of you.

This is not goodbye precious Mama ! This is just see you later. You will be in our hearts and our minds until we see you again.
