Caryl graduated from Oxbow High School in 1976. She began her adult life raising a family and embracing adventure as a military wife, spending time in Germany and Kentucky. She later made her homes in New Hampshire, Vermont, and ultimately Idaho.

Also as a dietary aid at Valley Vista in the Bradford, Vermont, Pennsylvania locations, and as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the Saint Maries Location. She later served her community as a long-term care and home health aide with Panhandle Health in Northern Idaho.

and small quilts for those in need of comfort in local hospitals, nursing homes, and during times of bereavement.
Caryl also had a son, Shawn Evans and two grandchildren Blake Evans and Ashley Evans and great-grandson Jack Evans which she lost contact with but kept their pictures and memories close at heart.
