Charles Robert (Bob) Heuett, 91, passed away at Life Care Center of Post Falls on January 02, 2026.
Bob was born on August 27, 1934 in Grand Forks, B.C. to Charles E., and Grace M. Heuett. Bob was the third of four children born to the couple. Along with his siblings, Bob was raised on a farm in Malo, Washington and attended school in Curlew, and Kennewick, Washington. Graduating from Kennewick High School in 1952
Bob married Agnes Tuve and together they lived in Seattle, Washington before moving and settling down in Rathdrum, Idaho. Bob and Agnes had 3 children before divorcing in 1964. Bob married Elma V. Washburn on Christmas day, December 25, 1965. Together they resided in Rathdrum, Idaho and were together for 39 years until Elma's passing on October 02, 2004. In April of 2006, Bob married Gwendolyn A. Johnson and they too resided in Rathdrum, Idaho. They were happily together for 15 years until Gwendolyn's passing on January 14, 2021.
Bob spent his career as a logger, tree feller, and self-loading log truck driver, retiring from Idaho Forest Industries in 1996. Bob was an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying hunting, fishing, and RV camping. Bob was also an avid and accomplished bowler, having bowled 2 perfect 300 games and a 299 game after the age of 80 years old.
Bob is survived by his son, Lawrence (Larry) and Daughter-in-Law Pamela Heuett of Banks, Oregon, daughter Sandra Toy of Moses Lake, Washington, step-sons Norman Heitstuman of Rathdrum, Idaho, Bert Heitstuman of Alaska, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. (Elmer) Heuett and Grace
Mae Heuett, sister Norene, brothers Marvin and James (Jim), daughter Linda, wives Agnes, Elma, and Gwendolyn, step-daughter Sylvia Heitstuman, and step-son John Heitstuman.
Gravesite Memorial Services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Rathdrum,
Idaho on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of
Life at The River City Lanes bowling alley in Post Falls, ID.
