**In Loving Memory of Dale Cranford**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Cranford. Dale passed away peacefully at home, falling asleep in his recliner and never waking up. His constant feline companion, Boing Boing, remained by his side until the very end.

Dale had a deep love for the outdoors, especially the water, and found immense joy in activities like biking, kayaking, and simply being close to nature. After many years living in Key West, Dale returned to the Pacific Northwest to be near his children and grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was being a grandpa and attending school events, field trips and programs. He loved to fish and kayak with his grandson and enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping and BBQs with family.

Dale was known for his sharp mind and love for math and engineering. He had a quick wit and was never shy about sharing his strong opinions. His passion for chess, a game he played competitively, mirrored his strategic thinking and love for intellectual challenges.

Though Dale is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. His dedication to family, his love for the outdoors, and his sharp, witty nature will always be remembered and cherished. May he rest in peace, knowing he made the world a more interesting and vibrant place simply by being in it.
