Growing up in Bell Gardens, California, Diane was a bright spirit who filled the world around her with kindness and warmth. Her journey began here, where she would go on to receive her education and form lifelong memories that she would cherish forever. Diane's home was always a welcoming haven, filled with delicious foods and the love of family and friends brought her the greatest joy. She had an incredible ability to make others feel at ease, coupled with a delightful sense of humor that could brighten even the dullest days.
On February 10, 1968, Diane married her soulmate, Wayne McCarroll, in Bell Gardens, California. Their love blossomed into a partnership that would last for decades, filled with shared adventures and profound affection for one another. Together, they created a family that became the center of Diane's universe. Diane cherished every moment spent with them and found endless joy in sharing her interests, such as camping, knitting, gold prospecting, and genealogy.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Wayne McCarroll; her son, Brian, and his wife, Christina, and their children, Connor and Lexie McCarroll, of Post Falls; and her daughter, Dara, and her husband, Don Harms, and their children, Lucas and Katelyn Harms, of Glenwood, Iowa. Each member of her family carries a piece of her spirit, continuing her legacy of love and laughter.
Diane Marie McCarroll will be remembered for her vibrant personality and the laughter she brought to those around her. Her kind heart and joyful smile will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain a beacon of love in the hearts of her family and friends.
