Donna Jean Blanton

Donna Jean Blanton, 59, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away on October 28, 2025, with her sister by her side, holding her hand.

Born on January 16, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, Donna was the beloved daughter of Jerold Jerome (Jerry) Blanton Sr. and Donna Mae Blanton, and the cherished sister of Jerold Jerome (Jerry) Blanton Jr. and Marsha Lynne MacIntyre. She grew up in San Gabriel, CA, attending McKinley Elementary, Jefferson Jr. High, and San Gabriel High School before building a successful career as a paralegal for many years.

Donna will be remembered for her deep love of her cats Bob, Nina, Minnie and Miss Kitty, her unwavering devotion to her favorite team—the “Boys in Blue” Los Angeles Dodgers—and her passion for baking. She had a gift for making friends wherever she went, and her kindness and warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Jerold Jerome (Jerry) Blanton Sr. and his wife Daisy Blanton, her brother, Jerold Jerome (Jerry) Blanton Jr., and her sister, Marsha Lynne MacIntyre, Eric MacIntyre and her 2 nephews, Shane Blanton and David MacIntyre. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jonathan Ornales, her sister in law, Jacque Blanton and her mother, Donna Mae Blanton.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held on December 21, 2025, in California, and on January 16, 2026, in Idaho. Friends and family are invited to attend and share memories of her remarkable life.

Her light will forever shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
