Floyd Dean Burge

Floyd Dean Burge passed away on Friday, May 17th, 2019, at Creekside Memory Care in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Violet, of 66 years and his four children; William (Benita), Cristina (Mark), Stanley (Katy), Patricia (Brian), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Floyd was born and raised in Post Falls, Idaho, lea

ving only for a brief stint in the Army after he was drafted in 1951. He came home and married Violet Welsh on October 24th, 1953. Floyd worked for Northwest Timber, where he gained a passion for wood working, until his retirement at the age of 62. He was also an avid outdoors-man with a keen interest in gardening.

A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at 1pm, Saturday, June 22nd at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho.
