Jim Glaser
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James William Glaser on February 22, 2026. He was 78 years old.
Jim was born on October 28, 1947, to William and Joyce Glaser in Longview, Washington. He attended schools in Washington, graduating from Battle Ground High School. Jim worked as a Sheet Metal worker until his retirement. Jim also served his country in the Washington Army National Guard from 14 Nov 1965 to 3 Apr 1972.
Jim married the love of his life Janice on July 3, 1982. With this union he gained 3 step children who he was always there for. Jim and Jan had many trips to Western Mexico and to Hawaii always bringing along family and friends. Jim loved fishing, nice cars, boats and houses. He loved going anywhere there were lakes. Jim and Jan loved being on the water. Jim also loved planning, shopping and cooking for family and friends. He cooked for us when we came to visit and took pleasure in making sure that we were all well fed. Jim was never one to sit around, so he had a hard time sitting still always feeling like he needed to be doing something. His toys, cars and house were well cared for as he liked keeping everything immaculate. Jim was a true friend and neighbor to all those around him.
Jim is survived by his daughter Ronda (Frank) Coones, grandson Aristin Coones, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters, Robert Glaser, Russell (Sharon) Glaser, Lois (Bruce)Hulett, and Donna (Brent) Gullickson. He is also survived by his 3 step children who loved him dearly, Steve (Patti) Rollins, Daniel Rollins, Debra (Brent) Sirstins, 17 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren.
Although we are deeply saddened by our loss, we are comforted to know that you are free from pain and at peace. Your absence leaves an undeniable sense of loss and sadness. We know that you are looking down on all of us. We will love and miss you always.
