Kay Helen Geise-Devanney

October 23, 1941 — March 9, 2021

Kay Helen Geise- Devanney journeyed into heaven from her home in Hayden, Idaho on March 9, 2021. Born October 23, 1941 to Oroville and Martha Geise (Wrench) in Brisbane, Australia; where her father was stationed in the U.S. Army. At age 8, Kay moved to America with her family and resided in California, Oregon, Washington State and Idaho. Kay was a kind and compassionate woman whose caring nature led her to become a nurse, school teacher, and homemaker. She enjoyed everything artistic and was a talented painter, sculptor and author, even creating and publishing her own newspaper, The Kootenai Courier. Kay loved the outdoors, camping and fishing with her children and grandchildren, and expressed her love for trees, horses, and scenery though her art, drawings, and watercolors. Kay has joined her loved ones in Heaven, including her father and mother; brother, Richard; and sister, Martha. Kay is survived by sons: Jim Byrant, Rick Liebernecht, Randolph Severson and wife Christine, Errol Severson and wife Theresa; daughters Pam Brown and Diane Bryant; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
