Laura Louise (Zehm) Talbott was born January 3, 1957, at the family home in Worley, Idaho, and passed away on March 26, 2026, in Post Falls, Idaho.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen E. Talbott, and by her parents, Raymond R. Zehm and Eleanor R. (Boswell) Zehm.
She was so loved and missed by her sisters: Lorraine (Steve) Moldenhauer of Atwater, California; Norene Zehm of Spokane Valley, Washington; and Donna (John) Wright of Morgantown, West Virginia; by her two nieces and six nephews; and twelve grandnieces and grandnephews. She is also missed by her stepchildren, Kevin Talbott (Chewelah, Washington) and Chyrene (Talbott) Looney (Spokane, Washington); her six step‑grandchildren; and by her ten step‑great‑grandchildren and by her many friends.
The graveside service will be Monday, April 6, 2026, at the Worley Cemetery on Cave Bay Road in Worley at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Don Cambra officiating and the eulogy by her brother‑in‑law, Steve Moldenhauer. Following the service, refreshments will be served at the Worley Community Church Fellowship Hall, 30203 S. 1st St. in Worley.
Laura loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and asked that memorial donations in her honor are to be given to the Worley Community Church, and expressed her gratitude to those in the church, the community, and to her neighbors that ministered to her as her health declined. Address: Worley Community Church, 30203 S. 1st St., Worley, ID 83876.
Laura also loved her cats and would want donations to be given in her honor to: Benewah Humane Society, Hope's Haven - 53 Robinson Lane, St. Maries, ID 83861.
She encourages adopting a pet if you are so led. The above is a no‑kill facility, and yes, her two kitties have a new family to love them.
From all the family: “Thank you for being God’s hands and heart to Laura in her time of need. You are so appreciated.”
