Leroy Elive Johnson, 76, entered into rest on December 9th, 2025, in Hayden, Idaho. He was born April 9, 1949, in Kellogg, Idaho. The son of Palmer Roy Johnson and Ethyl Elizabeth (Larsen) Johnson, Jones. Leroy attended Pinehurst Elementary/ Jr. High in Pinehurst, Idaho. He was a long-time resident of Pinehurst, Idaho, before moving to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2020.

Leroy married Paula Sue (Jameson) Johnson on December 22, 1978, in Kellogg, Idaho. They were married for 37 years until her passing on December 13, 2016.

Leroy retired from the Sunshine Mining Co., where he worked most of his life. Leroy loved fishing, camping, riding motorcycles, golfing, driving, horses, spending time at the river doing crazy stuff like jumping off the black and silver bridge at the Northfork river, and racing cool cars. He loved hanging out with his friends and family.
He was a member of our saviors’ Lutheran church in Pinehurst, Idaho, and also attended the Alter church in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Leroy Johnson, and his daughter-in-law Stephanie Bowen/ Johnson Rathdrum, Idaho. Daughter Leanne Marie Mason Reagan from Chubbuck, Idaho. Sister Loretta (Johnson) Pete Deitz from Laughlin, Nevada, and Kalene Bobo from Buckeye, Arizona. Sister in laws Sheryl (Jameson) Reagan from Kellogg, Idaho, and Susie Jameson from Pinehurst, Idaho. 

Grandsons Jonny Johnson and Eddie Johnson, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Brooklyn Johnson of Pocotello, Idaho. Charlie Johnson, and Desiree Johnson, of Pinehurst, Idaho, And Many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, wife Paula Johnson, son Eddie Johnson and granddaughter Kaylee Johnson, sister Darlene Wold, and brother Dick Boyd.

The funeral service will be held on December 19th at 1 pm at the Alter church in CDA.
A potluck gathering will follow directly after the services

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to assist with the purchase of a headstone.
