Nadine Marie (Paterson) Palley

Nadine was born on September 2, 1959, and raised in the Duquesne Heights section of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Saint Mary of the Mount High School in 1977. She moved to Southern California shortly thereafter to start a career as a hairdresser. She married and had three children.

Nadine was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in her early 40s, but bravely battled the disease for nearly 25 years. She passed away on April 13, 2026 while surrounded by family in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Nadine was always a beautiful person with a loving soul. The saying that a person “never had a mean bone in their body” certainly applied to Nadine who was always thoughtful and treated others with kindness.

Nadine is survived by her loving daughter, Dana Palley, son, Trevor Palley, mother Marjorie Sciulli (Abate), stepfather Ottavia Sciulli, sisters Regina Richmond(Ronald), Lisa Paterson, Angela Horew(Thomas), brother, James Paterson, sister-in-law and best friend, Sandra Kaye, and many relatives and friends who loved her. She will be forever missed and always in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her wonderful son, Jared Palley, age 11.
