Patricia Wimpenny

Patricia (Patty) Ann Wimpenny, 53, of Coeur d'Alene died March 5, 2012. Patty was born March 25, 1958 to Gordon Wimpenny, DMV (Retired) and wife Margaret Wimpenny. She is survived by her parents, Gordon and Margaret, and her two sisters, Nina Denzin (Robert, Deceased) and Alice Bielenberg (Don, Deceased), two brothers, Robert Wimpenny, DDS (Regina) and Don Wimpenny (Kathy), and numerous nieces and nephews. Patty was a caring loving person and always looked out for other people. She was an active member of her church, Northstar Baptist, helping in the Sunday childcare. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. Patty loved to sing, was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Animals had a special place in her heart, especially cats. A funeral mass will be held March 17 at 10:00 am at St. Pius Catholic Church 625 Haycraft, and a memorial service will be held March 31 at 10:00 am at Northstar Baptist Church 8145 Ramsey Rd.. Memorial Contributions can be made to Kootenai Humane Society Pet Adoption Center or Northstar Baptist Church.
