Rebecca Diane Hensen

July 30, 1968 — January 9, 2026

Coeur d' Alene

Rebecca Diane Hensen (Struckmeyer) was born on July 30, 1968, in Arbuckle, California, to Betty “Carolyn” Struckmeyer and James Fredrick Struckmeyer. She was raised in Arbuckle, where she spent her childhood and later graduated from Pierce High School in 1986.

Rebecca—known lovingly as “Becky” to family and friends—was funny, intelligent, and full of energy. She and her sister Denise were often the life of the party. Becky loved playing cards, enjoying her coffee, and, most famously, her Burger King French fries. Wherever she went, there was often the lingering scent of her favorite perfume, Red Door by Elizabeth Arden.

While Becky loved many things in life, her greatest pride and joy was her daughter, Paige Struckmeyer.

In 2002, Becky moved to Post Falls, Idaho, a place she grew to love deeply. She had a big heart and cared fiercely for those she loved. After moving to Post Falls, she devoted herself to caregiving—selflessly caring for her grandmother, her mother, and eventually her sister. Though the role came with challenges, Becky embraced it with love and dedication.

On January 8, 2025, Becky was welcomed into the arms of Jesus and reunited with her parents, after her generous heart could no longer carry on this earthly journey.

She is survived by her sisters: Martha Sachs (Shelby) of College City, California; Denise Yagi of Spokane, Washington; and Darcey Walker (Jack) of Missouri. She is also survived by her daughter, Paige Frazier (William) of Post Falls, Idaho; her grandsons, Leonidas Rodney Frazier and Ivar Aiden William Frazier; and her granddaughter, Novalee Miss Mary Frazier.

She is lovingly remembered by her nieces: April Starnater (Justin), Sydney Valiska (Troy), and Yukiko Yagi; and her nephews: Ryan Grimmer (Luisana), Chad Starnater (Shelby), Dalton Sachs, and Lukus Yagi.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Carolyn Struckmeyer, and her grandparents, Jess and Betty Hardy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations in Rebecca’s honor may be made to the Arbuckle Fire Department or the College City Cemetery
