Reuben Frank Mendy

Reuben Frank Mendy Reuben was born to Velma Valentine and Benjamin Mendy on August 30, 1937 and passed away January 16, 2021 at Schneidmiller Hospice House in CDA, Idaho. Reuben loved his family, but mostly his grandchildren. Reuben married Darlene Gilman on February 29, 1960. They resided in Shoshone County Idaho where Reuben worked as a miner. Reuben is survived by his wife, Darlene at the family home in Post Falls Idaho, his children, Don Mendy (Angie) of Osburn Idaho, Timothy Mendy (Durie) of Wallace Idaho, Wade Mendy (Mahalla) of Kellogg Idaho, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. His brothers, Harold Mendy (Romona) of Kellogg, Jack Mendy of Kellogg, Alex Mendy of Smelterville Idaho and his sister Penny (Berna) Warren of Kellogg Idaho. Reuben is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jimmy Mendy, his daughters Brenda Mendy and Lisa Mendy. His brothers Phillip Mendy, Cecil Mendy, Bernard Mendy and Dale Mendy and his sisters, Myrtle Mendy, Audrey Hoffman and Theresa Mendy. There will be a celebration of life for Reuben on January 31, 2021 at the Kellogg Elks in Kellogg Idaho at noon.
