1955 – 2025

Ronald E. Horn, 69, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 12, 2025, in Spirit Lake, Idaho.

Born in Madera, California, Ron spent most of his early life in Central California, where he met the love of his life, Nora. In 1995, they moved to Idaho, where they built a life together until Nora’s passing in 2021.

Ron worked at Conmat in Hayden, Idaho, until his retirement in 2023. He was a hardworking man who found joy in the simple things—especially the great outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting, particularly when it meant spending time with his sons and grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his two sons and their families: Ron Horn and wife Sara of Florida, with their children Anya, Riley, and Kendal; and Tim Horn and wife Debbie of Spirit Lake, Idaho, with their children Andrew, Dakota, Hunter, Adaya, Ryker, and Avery. He also leaves behind his sisters, Lois Martin and Carol Rakes of California; his brother, Edward Horn of Oregon; and many extended family members including cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews—all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was a man who gave selflessly to those he loved and never asked for anything in return. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

He will forever be missed and always remembered.
