Ron Martin died peacefully taking an afternoon nap on Friday, June 7th.

 Ron was born on Aug 9, 1941, to Josh and Mary Martin in Wickenburg AZ. He is survived by his wife Jolene, his 2 sons, Steven & Eric, a grandson Mikel & great-grandson Mason, Steve's wife Kaye & Eric's wife Katherine. He has numerous cousins, nieces & nephews Ron joined the Air Force in 1961 and stationed at most of his 4 years in Germany 

He married Jolene Van Zant in 1965, and joined the SFPD in 1966. Ron was active during the 30 years with the Police dept, working in the juvenile division with young children and also with high schools in a outreach Community program, He was also active with the Police shooting team. He retired in 1996 and moved with his wife Jolene to Coeur d'Alene, ID in the Rockford Bay area. They joined the Corvette Club and had many years taking Runs with the club members. They also hosted some runs. He enjoyed his corvette

A memorial celebration is planned at 10:00 AM at Bell Tower for June 24th Funeral Home in Post Falls, 

Reception to follow at St. Pius Catholic Church hall, on 625 E. Haycraft Ave, CDA Services will be streamed online via the Bell Tower website
