Sharon was born on April 21, 1935 in Taber, Alberta, Canada to David Elmer Hall and Lillis (Birch) Hall. She was the fifth of six children. Sharon married Russell Lynn Noack on September 18, 1953 in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Salt Lake City temple. The Noacks moved to Spokane in 1953. Russell and Sharon moved their family to several locations during the first few years of their marriage. They spent time in Yakima, Washington; Moses Lake, Washington; North Hollywood, California, and British Columbia. In 1960, they made their way back to Spokane, and that is where they called home.
In 1967, Sharon graduated from Spokane Community College with her LPN degree. She worked in the nursing profession for about 25 years. She was blessed to be the mother of seven children. She experienced many things in her life that shaped her faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. After almost 40 years of marriage, Russell died from complications of Parkinson’s disease on June 6, 1993 with Sharon by his side.
After Russell’s passing, Sharon was called to be a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Albuquerque, New Mexico mission from July 1999 to Dec 2000. She loved the people that she served, especially the Navajo. She often spoke of her great love for the people of New Mexico. Upon returning from her mission, Sharon met Bruce Allen Lindquist. They spent five years together until Bruce’s passing on April 28, 2009.
Sharon will be remembered as a beloved mother, Nana, great-Nana, and friend.
