Sherri Lynn Wastweet (Price) was born on May 9th, 1966 to Lee Daniel and Marianne Elaine Price in Modesto, California. In October 1970 Sherri and her family moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Sherri graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School in 1984 and lived the rest of her life in Kootenai County. She worked as a Grant Administrator for 21 years at Panhandle Area Council in Hayden, Idaho.
Sherri was an avid sports fan. She loved the Atlanta Braves, Seattle Seahawks, Gonzaga Bulldogs, and Nascar. She loved most 4 legged creatures including horses, dogs, and lions.
In 1994 Sherri met the love of her life John Wastweet. They were married one year later on September 3rd, 1995. They both loved each other very much and frequently told each other so. An ongoing contest was to be the first to say ‘Love you most’ each day.
Sherri gave her life to Jesus Christ and was baptized alongside John on August 7th, 2022.
Sherri passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on September 8th, 2024, and is home with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
