Sheryl L. Sugita

Sheryl L. Sugita passed away in her Post Falls residence on February 25, 2026 at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband Calvin Sugita, his daughter Brandi and her children Lupin and Lotus. Sheryl's two sons Phillip and Aaron Guillaume as well as Phillip's wife Nicole and their two sons Logan and Finn. 

Sheryl lived a majority of her life in California. As a child she also lived in Washington State and Japan with her parents Ruben and Donna Espinoza as well as her sister Holly. After Graduating high school she decided to stay in central California while her family returned to the life of a military family. Sheryl was a creative and industrious person. At the age of 12 she started selling what she created to the kids at school. Despite the ups and downs she experienced during her life she always kept the entrepreneurial spirit alive with an adventurous heart. 

She rejoined her parents in southern California after her divorce, where she attained schooling to become a cosmetician. Sheryl moved to Hawaii where she married Calvin Sugita. They lived there six years before returning to southern California. Sheryl became a certified Gemologist as well as a certified Property Manager. 

Sheryl was a good friend to her customers and residents alike. If they had a problem she would do everything in her power to help them. 

In 2021 Sheryl and her husband followed her parents and sister to Idaho to live.
