Stanley Orville McCurdy

Stanley Orville McCurdy, age 76, of Spokane Valley passed away on April 8, 2024. Stan was born on June 14, 1947, in Huntington Park, California, to Orville McCurdy, and Naomi Dyer.
Not only was he a devoted son, but he was also a loving brother to Carolyn (Dick) and Marilyn (Jim). He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter Michelle (Darien), son Michael (Brandi), and stepchildren Shelley (Jim), and Michael. Stan was a doting grandfather to Branden, Tyler, Easton, Atlas, Brooke, Gwyn, Nate, Hayden, and Allison. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren and had many nephews and nieces whom he loved very much.
Stan served in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Millwright Worker and later in life an Entrepreneur. Stan had a love of the outdoors, nature, and his family. He loved spending days at his family property on Lake Thomas. He was known for his humor, caring nature, and always making family and friends feel welcomed and cherished.
Rest in peace. We will miss you.
A celebration of Stan’s life will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls, Idaho on April
21st at 11 am.
