Timothy James Rich (Tim) 37, of Anchorage, AK passed away unexpectedly on January 2nd, 2026, in Coeur D'Alene, ID.

Tim was born in Elizabeth City, NC on November 30, 1988. He joined the Army at the age of 17 and was honorably discharged due to service-related injuries. He loved his family and his country and will be sorely missed.

Tim is survived by his wife Briggette and Sons Dean and Daniel along with daughter Allison of the home, daughters Katelynn and Alayna of Upper Sandusky, OH, His mother and father Tina and David Walston of Billings,MO; brothers Thomas Rich (Jill) of Newport, NC, John Rich (Jennifer) Of Miller, MO, David Walston 3rd (Beatryce) of Clever, MO, Matthew Walston of Billings, Mo and his beloved little sister Bethany Walston of Billings, MO along with nephews Shawn and Caleb Rich, Jahsiah Walston, Issac Walston, Maverick Rich, and niece Rowen Walston. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his biological father Keith Rich (Sharon) of Fayetteville, NC and paternal grandmother Alice Rich of Fayetteville, NC. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents Thomas and Beatrice Fields and Paternal Grandfather Robert Rich.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Bell Tower Funeral Home, Post Falls, ID for handling the cremation of our beloved Timothy.

Timothy was a very loved man who loved his family very much. He suffered greatly from childhood trauma and mental health issues related to that trauma, and his time in the Army. He is now with our Heavenly Father free from all the pain and torment he endured.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to any Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse organization or any Veterans Suicide prevention organization of the giver's choice.
