March 30, 1981 — December 17, 2025

Hayden

Timothy “Tim” Alan Grossglauser, 44, of Hayden, Idaho, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of his father, mother, sister, and son, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Tim was born on March 30, 1981, in Roseville, California, to Rick and Carol Grossglauser. He was their firstborn and only son. He spent his early years in California before his family moved to North Idaho the summer of 1993. In 2001, the family relocated to Fountain Hills, Arizona, and in 2015, Tim proudly returned to North Idaho, a place he was grateful to once again call home.

Tim graduated from Falls Christian Academy in 1999. A driven and hardworking man, he pursued multiple business ventures throughout his life, including real estate, business ownership, and new home construction. Known for his determination and strong work ethic, Tim was never afraid to take risks or chart his own path. He left an unforgettable mark on everyone he met, teaching those around him that life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, that it’s okay to live differently, to love boldly, and to give without keeping score. His spirit lives on in every act of kindness, every burst of laughter, and every expression of love shared by those he touched.

Tim had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke. His laughter was contagious, and he had a way of lightening even the heaviest moments. He brought joy and levity wherever he went, reminding those around him not to take life too seriously.

From a young age, Tim had a deep love for motocross. Riding dirt bikes and traveling to watch motocross was more than a hobby, it was a passion that connected generations. He especially treasured sharing this love with his father throughout his childhood and into adulthood, creating countless lasting memories together.

In 2008, Tim welcomed his son, Gavin, into the world. Above all, being a father was Tim’s greatest accomplishment. Watching Gavin grow from a baby into a young boy and then into a young man was his pride and joy. Tim was a devoted, loving, and fiercely proud father who treasured every milestone, every conversation, and every shared adventure. Some of their happiest moments were spent racing go-karts and riding mountain trails together in their side-by-side, surrounded by laughter, joy, and the bond they shared.

Tim was a strong Christian believer whose faith carried him through life’s greatest trials. Even after his diagnosis, Tim chose to use his journey as a way to inspire others battling cancer. He became passionate about supporting and finding research studies aimed at discovering a cure for glioblastoma, offering encouragement and hope to others along the way. His faith kept him positive, upbeat, and grounded, and he faced his illness with remarkable strength, courage, and perseverance. Tim was a fighter in every sense of the word—yet always kind, loving, and quick with a smile.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James “Jim” Marvin Hendrix and Carol Ellen Hendrix; his paternal grandparents, Robert Emil Grossglauser and Carol Joyce Grossglauser; and his two beloved dogs, Foxy and Tippy.

He is survived by his loving parents, Rick Alan and Carol Ann Grossglauser; his sister, Sabrina Nicole Grossglauser-Dutra; his cherished son, Gavin Alexander Grossglauser; his nephew, Jarrik Alan Grossglauser-Dutra; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved him dearly.

Tim’s earthly journey has ended, but his eternal life has begun. With unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, Tim now rests in God’s perfect peace. We find comfort in knowing he has been welcomed into Heaven, reunited with those who went before him, embraced with open arms and surrounded by everlasting love. Though deeply missed, we trust in God’s promise that this goodbye is not forever, and that we will meet again.

The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this time. In keeping with Tim’s wishes, no services will be held. Tim was passionate about increasing awareness of brain cancer, especially glioblastoma. Those who wish to honor his memory may do so by making a donation in Tim’s name.
